CHARACTERISTICS OF OIL FIELD WATER IN TURPAN DEPRESSION AND ITS PETROLEUM GEOLOGICAL SIGNIFICANCE

This paper gives a discussion on the organic chemical and organic geochemical characteristics. Oil and gas reservoirs in this area are classified based on the above analyses and intergrated by analyses of main characteristics of the organic content, distribution of low carbon fatty acids, ultralviolet absorption spectrum, arromatic content and fluorence spectrum in the oil field, according to the conservation conditions. This paper also discusses the inorganic chemical characteristics of the oil field waters in non-deteriorated oil reservoir, slightlydeteriorated reservoirs, non-unofrmly deteriorated reservoirs, surface seapaged reservoirs and structurally strongly deteriorated reservoirs. Moreover cluster analysis features in the correlation of rNa/rCa─rNa/rC1 in oil filed water in reservoirs with various conservation conditions is stressed. Thus, the basic geochemical characteristics and its petroleum geological significance of oil field waters occured in this depression is demonstrated preliminarily in this paper.
