Effect of different treatments of Tenebrio molitor on the breeding of Scleroderma guani

The effect of anaesthesia and cold storage of Tenebrio molitor pupae on the breeding of Scleroderma guani was investigated.The pupae were narcotized for 2,4 and 6 h and the results showed Scleroderma guani had higher parasitization,oviposition rate and emergence rate on 2 h narcotized pupae than those on the others.After the cold storage at the temperature of-4 ℃ for 1,5,10,20,30,45 and 60 d respectively,the biological qualities were best for 20 d and 30 d.The effect of 20 d cold storage pupae at four constant temperature(4,0,-4 and-8℃) on biological qualities of Scleroderma guani were investigated and-4 ℃ was the best storage temperature.
