Advance in the study on poplar resistance to insects

WEI Zhen(College of Agronomy,Henan Agricultural University,Zhengzhou 450002,China)  
The present situation and advance of the study on poplar resistance in recent decades were summarized in the aspects of genetic resistance and ecological resistance.As for the existing problems,individual opinions were put forward to provide the theoretical guidance for Populus resistance breeding.
