Identification and pathogenicity of the entomogenous fungi isolated from Cephalcia Chuxiongica Xiao

XIA Jufei;College of Forestry ,Southw est Forestry University,Yunnan Province Key Laboratory of Forest Disaster Warning and Control;
A total of 5 entomogenous fungi w ere isolated from naturally diseased Cephalcia chuxiongica,collected from Xundian county of Yunnan province in the Southw est of China,w hich w ere named SWYH01,SWYH02,SWYH06,SWYH07 and SWYH09. The 5 fungi strains w ere identified as Beauveria brongniartii,Paecilomyces lilacinus,Bionectria ochroleuca,Isaria farinose and Beauveria bassiana by morphology and molecular methods. The conidial suspensions of each strain w ere used to infect C. Chuxiongica for pathogenic research. The result show ed the corrected mortality of the larvae of C.Chuxiongica rose from 43. 64% to 100% 16 days after treated by conidial suspension of 1. 5 ×108conidia / m L. It proved that the 5 fungi strains w ere virulent to C. Chuxiongica larvae and the most pathogenic strain w as B. ochroleuca.
