Analysis of Land Acquisition and Resettlement in the Henan Section of Middle-line First-phase Engineering of the South-to-North Water Transfer Project

The length of water conveyance master canal of Middle-line First-phase Engineering of the South-to-North Water Transfer Project is 1277 km, involved in Henan and Hebei provinces and Beijing City. Due to the strip distribution of water conveyance project, its construction occupation land, material storage land and debris occupation land are arranged along canal so that its occupation lands are scattered. Its temporary occupation land is much larger than that of reservoir works. Because its design depths at different stages are different, the temporary occupation land range at different stages are varied greatly, which affects the accuracy of actual-material indexes of temporary land use of project and brings difficulty to investment control. In addition, it is difficult to ascertain the flood plain along the water transfer line, which makes the actual-material index investigation difficult. Therefore, these features and particularities should be taken into account in the design work of land acquisition and resettlement for the construction Middle-line First-phase Engineering of the South-to-North Water Transfer Project.
