Investigation on X-ray Shielding Property of PA6 Composite with High Tungsten Content

By using computer tomography(CT)instrument,the X-ray shielding property of nylon 6 composite with high tungsten concentration was investigated.The results showed that the X-ray shielding of the nylon 6 composite increased as the thickness density increased.Moreover,the test results observed the Lambert-Beer law.In addition,nylon 6 composite(density of 10.3 g/cm3)had similar X-ray shielding effect with lead.
