Numerical Simulation Study on Interface Destroy of HGB/EP Syntactic Foam

Hollow glass bead/epoxy resin(HGB/EP)syntactic foam was a new structural and functional composite.The adhesive property between HGB and EP had a large affection on its mechanical properties of composite.An experiment of adhesion force was devised to test the adhesive property between glass and EP.The numerical simulation model of this syntactic foam was established.The cohensive element was devised in it,which real constant was tested by experiment.Tensile and compressive load were applied on six models.The relative deformation between HGB and EP was investigated.The limit load of interface destroy was obtained,then,the change curves between limit load and the radius of HGB,packing ratio of HGB were presented.The result were agreed with related literature experiments.
