Fabrication and Properties of Glass Fiber Reinforced Epoxy Pultrusion Core Board for Rubber Track

Based on the technical requirements of foreign integrated rubber track composite core board for a special vehicle,epoxy/anhydride resin system as matrix material and glass fiber as reinforced material were selected to manufacture glass fiber reinforced epoxy pultrusion core board for rubber track by pultrusion process method.The mechanical property,heat resistance and adhesion property were tested.Results showed that the glass fiber reinforced epoxy pultrusion core board can replace the traditional metal core as a key structural component for the integrated rubber track,due to its outstanding mechanical property,excellent thermal performance and strong adhesion property.
