Simulation Study on the Air-flow Distribution in the Inside Part of Mechanical Refrigerated Truck

Based on numerical simulation approach,the k-ε model of complicated coupling heat transfer process in the body of mechanical refrigerated vehicles was established.The steady velocity and temperature fields inside the body were simulated with CFD code fluent when there were different diffuser height,airflow velocity and distance between the cargoes and the lateral wall.Analysis and comparison of the simulations show that airflow jet can achieve further range through adopting adherence jet and larger airflow velocity as well as the longer distance between cargos and the lateral wall,the evener distribution of temperature.Therefore,it was better to install the evaporator closed to the ceiling.Besides,an appropriate airflow velocity and distance between the cargoes and the lateral wall was suggested to be set by considering both body size and loadage during the period of refrigerated transportation process.
