New Achievements in Earth Rockfill Dam Research

Li Nenghui,et al(Nanjing Hydraulic Research Institute,Nanjing 210024)  
Based on the achievements from national key research projects and related research projects,presented in this paper are some new important research results about earth rockfill dams such as prototype observation instruments,methods of analysis of prototype observation data,dynamic analysis and seismic failure criterion of earth rockfill dams,construction of dams on soft soil foundations and application of geosynthetics to earth rockfill dams.
