Flood risk CSPPC model and its application

Xu Zongxue Ye Shouze (Wuhan Institute of Hydraulic and Electric Engineering)  
From the viewpoint of stochastic point process, the authors researchedthe flood risk model--clustering stochastic point process compound(CSPPC) model and derived two specific models--generalized Poisson-Poisson (GPP) model and generalized Poisson-Bernoulli (GPB) model. The application of the model was discussed combining with the data of Yichang flood peak counted process in twenty years on the Yangtze River. The result shows that the model is practical in analyzing and calculating the flood risk for the clustering flood stochastic point process.
