Back analysis of viscoelastic-plastic parameters of surrounding rock in underground engineering

According to the displacement measured in situ in a short term, a back analysis method estimating the viscoelasto-plastic parameters of rock mass is presented in this paper.In this method, the increment back analysis method combined with the complex optimization method is used in the back analysis of the initial stress, the elastic modulus and the parameters of rock mass surrounding the large cavarn. The program can be carried out by a microcomputer and the results obtained feed back to the engineering practice timely.
