Study on the Synthesis of DOTP Catalysized by SnO_2-ZnO Composit Oxide

SnO2-ZnO composit oxide was prepared by coprecipitation method. Di - octyl terephthalate (DOTP) was synthesized by using waste PET and 2 - EH as materials. The optimal conditions for synthesizing DOTP were as follows: the reaction temperature is between 210 - 220℃, the molor ratio of waste PET to 2-EH is 1:3.8 and the quality ratio of catalyst to waste PET is 13.10%,the reaction time is 3 hours,the productivity of DOTP is up to 96.18%.
