Study on the Function Classification of Ma Qian-zi Using Artificial Immune System

Objective: To study the function classification of Ma Qian-zi(Strychnos muxvomica L.).Methods: A database of the characters of traditional Chinese drugs was established and an artificial immune system(AIS) was set up,which can be used to predict the function classification of traditional Chinese drugs.Results: The characters of traditional Chinese drugs was coded and imported into the optimized AIS.The output shows that Ma Qian-zi should be categorized into the group of drugs,which can promote blood circulation and remove blood stasis.Conclusion: The AIS can be a help for study on the function classification of traditional Chinese drugs.
