Handling periodic nitrogen blockage of the crude argon column associated with 10000m 3/h air separation plant

Mo You- kun, Ye Gu-xiang ( Oxygen Production Co.,Ltd.of Wuhan Iron and Steel Group, 20 Wu Steel, Bai Yu Shan, Qingshan District, Wuhan 430083, Hubei, P.R.Chian)  
The operating conditions are divided into six stages both for the crude argon column and the upper column associated with 10000m 3/h air separation plant when the periodic nitrogen blockage occurs .It points out that the periodic nitrogen blockage results from too high nitrogen content in the argon fraction and excessive liquid in the condenser of the crude argon column. With the improvement of process design, the paper puts forward some common measures to be taken for solving the problem and for prevention.
