The Chemical Properties and Physiological function of Lycopene

A great deal of epidemiological evidence show that lycopene plays a positive role in the prevention of certain types of cancer or chronic disease in human. In recent years,lycopene is a hot topic in the researching area of function food. This review introduced researching progresses of lycopene in its chemical structures, biological properties and physiological function.
