Determination of Pantothenic Acid in Thin-shell Walnut and Pistachio of Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region by HPLC

To determine the content of pantothenic acid in thin-shell walnut and pistachio of Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region by high performance liquid chromatography. In this experiment, the column was Symmetry Shield RP18(4.6 mm×250 mm×5 μm) using 10 mmol/L KH2PO4(pH 3) and acetonitrile as mobile phase, and it was detected by UV scanning at a wavelength of 200 nm. This method is simple, accurate, the linear rangeis 5.0~40.0 mg/100 g, the linear correlation is 0.999 8, the recovery rate was between 93.5%~96.6%, the limit of detection is 0.10 mg/100 g, the precision of the experiment will peak area and retention time as investigation object, the RSD is less than 0.6%.The result shows that the content of pantothenic acid in thin-shell walnut and pistachio of Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region is rich, which also has high nutritional value.
