Influence of pH, Temperature and Contanue Inoculum on Mixed Cultures of Streptococcus Thermophilus CH9-9 and Lactobacillus Bulgaricus CH9-3

The influence of pH, temperature and contanue inoculum on streptococcus thermophilus CH9-9 and lactobacillus bulgaricus CH9-3 mixed cultures were studied. Ted, the CFU/ml of mined cultures was rised and growth of Lactobacillus CH9-3 was improved at higher temperature ( 44℃ ), streptococcus thermophilus CH9-9 was inhibited at lower pH(5.0-5.5).
