Extraction of refined oil from citrus peel by supercritical CO_2 fluid

GAO Yu-duo LI Bao-guo(Institute of Food and Biotechnology, University of Shanghai for Science and Technology, Shanghai 200093,China)  
Through an orthogonal experiment on extraction of refined oil by supercritical CO 2 fluid, the influence of several parameters such as particle size, extracting pressure, extracting temperature and extracting time on extraction rate were studied. The results showed that the technological conditions of the most amount of (d)-Limonene were particle size 0.35mm, pressure 12MPa, temperature 36℃ and time 60 minutes, with 1.91% refined oil in separating container Ⅰ; the optimum technological parameters of de-terpene were particle size 0.35mm, pressure 14MPa, temperature 40℃ and time 90 minutes, the maximum of extraction rate was up to 3.19% in separating container Ⅱ. Expanded polystyrene plastics could be dealt with by refined oil.
