Study on picking period of Camellia oleifera for nutrition change

SHI Jiang;LIU Xing-yong;Yunnan Vocational Collage of Tropcial Crops;Institute of Quality Standards and Testing Technology,Yunnan Academy of Agricultural Sciences;  
Use Camellia oleifera Abel seeds as the study object,analyzed the changes of nutrients in different harvesting stage.The result showed that,with dry matter,crude fat and tea saponin content increasing,the moisture,protein,amino acid,crude fiber decreased, between the maturity stage of Camellia oleifera seeds.Nutrients content have significant difference in different picking stage between July and August,September.The limiting amino acid,Met+Cys, of Camellia oleifera seed,the amino acid score was increased with picking time delay.Based on the change of various nutrients,the best picking stage was in the middle August to early September.
