Optimization on microwave-assisted extraction for melanin from black kerneled rice via quadratic regressive currency rotary design

The objective of this study was to research microwave-assisted extraction for melanin from black kerneled rice using RSM.Three influence factors,namely extraction time,extraction solvent and ratio of material to liquid were selected to investigate the extraction efficiency of melanin.The quadratic polynomial mathematical model was established to optimize microwave-assisted condition.The results showed that the sequence of factors that worked on melamin extraction was as below:extraction solvent ratio of material to liquid extraction time.The optimal conditions were as followed:optimal time 94 s,liquid-solid ratio 18∶1(V∶m),extraction solvent 80%.Under these conditions,the maximal extraction yield reached 4.97%.
