Experimental research on 6HS-6 type walnut shell cracking equipment

6HS-6 type walnut shell cracking equipment was designed to improve shell rind and eating convenience of walnut. Its shell cracking experiment was conducted. Through the single factor experiment,the proper working ranges of rotating velocity of roller,spring force and clearance between acting arm and roller were set up. By using the twice regression orthogonal experimental method with three factors and five levels,the regression mathematical models about experimental indices and factors were established. At last,the optimal combination of the parameters for walnut shell cracking was obtained through nonlinear optimization method with many targets. Experimental results showed that according to dimensions and water content of walnuts,optimal rotating velocity of roller,spring force and distance between acting arm and roller were selected to improve the shell cracking productivity and the quality of processed walnut.
