STUDIES ON FERMENTATION CONDITIONS FOR LACCASE PRODUCTION FROM WHITE-ROT FUNGI TRAMETES VERSICOLOR

The optimal fermentation conditions for laccase production by White-rot fungi Trametes versicolor in shake-flask cultivation were studied. The composition of fermentation medium was soluble starch 2 g/L,NH4Cl 1.2 g/L, KH2PO4 2 g/L MgSO4·7H2O 0.5 g/L,CaCl2·2H2O 0.1 g/L,VB1 0.001 g/L,Tween80 2 g/L,mixed solution of trace metals 7 mL/ L, guaiacol 0.015 mmol/L and CuSO4· 5H2O 60 μmol/L, pH 3.5, and the optimal conditions were 50 mL medium in 250 mL-flask, and incubation with 150 r/ min at 25℃ for 10 d. The laccase activity was up to 862 U/L after 10 days of incubation, is about 4-fold more than that of previous conditions.
