A Computer Programme of Optimising Glass Batch Calculations

In this paper,the simplex method and the composite optimum method have been applied to calculate glass batch.By taking minimum cost as objective functions,and glass property as constraints,the minimum cost of glass bach has been optimised,and also by taking minimum melting temperature as objective functions,and the cost and glass prop- erty as constraints,the melting temperature has been optimised.The computer programme can be applied not only to the glass industry,but also to the ceramic and enamel industries.
