Small-Scale Farming Economy System and Japanese Agriculture Modernization After World War Ⅱ

The small-scale farming economy system in Japan was established through agrarian reform after World war Ⅱ Though the system doesn't seem to fit the demand of modern agriculture, Japanese agriculture modernization was accomplished on the basis of it Japanese government played a dominant role in the process of agriculture reform and adopted organizational measures to remedy the inherent defect of the small-scale farming economy system, this was the main characteristic of Japanese agriculture modernization
