Analysis of Relationship between the Calorific Value and the Carbon and Hydrogen Contents of the Pinus sylvestris var.mongolica Plantation

The calorific value,carbon content and hydrogen content of the Pinus sylvestris var.mongolica plantation in Harbin Experimental Forest Farm of Northeast Forestry University were studied in this paper.The results showed that the calorific average value was 20.03 kJ/g,the carbon average content was 47.63%,and the hydrogen average content was 6.39% of the Pinus sylvestris var.mongolica plantation.In addition the calorific average value and the carbon and hydrogen contents took on the same trend in all organs of the Pinus sylvestris var.mongolica plantation,of which the highest calorific value and the carbon and hydrogen contents existed in leaves while the trunk xylem,the branch xylem,and the trunk bark took the second,the third and the fourth places.There was significant linear correlation between the calorific value and the carbon and hydrogen contents.
