Design and Simulation of Automobile Seat Suspension with Positive and Negative Stiffness Parallel Spring

The principle of stiffness offset with the positive and negative stiffness parallel were introduced and through analysis the natural frequency and the vibration transmissibility can be reduced.Based on this principle,a new type of seat vibration isolation system was designed,and the isolation system structure and performance parameters were given.In addition,the ideal natural frequency was obtained.The virtual prototype of the five degrees of freedom seat suspension-human body was established with ADAMS.Sine excitation was used to analog the input signal of automobile cabin floor to carry out the simulation analysis.At the same time,the simulation of the seat without negative stiffness was carried.The acceleration spectrum of the head,upper torso,lower torso,thighs and seat was obtained.Simulation results showed that compared with the ordinary seat isolation system,human body acceleration was obviously decreased and comfort was effectively improved.
