Study on the extraction and purity of Icraiin in Epimedium from Sichuan

The high content of Icraiin were selected by comparing the content of Icraiin in different Epimedium from Sichuan was E.Wushanense T.S.Ying in Xuanhan, the content is 2.65%. The optimum technology of extraction and purity as follows: the volum fraction of ethanol was 80%, the ratio of ethanol to sample 10:1, 8:1, 6: 1 (v/w), extracting time 2.0 h, 1.5 h and 1.0 h, extractimg temperature 70 ℃. The total yield above 1.8% and the content was 98%.
