Effect of preharvest calcium spray on Pyrus bretschneideri Rehd storage

Objective:This test aimed to increase the calcium content of the fruit to adjust P-Ca,K-Ca,N-Ca balance and to improve postharvest fruit quality.Method:The test studied the fruit quality and mineral element in Pyrus bretschneideri Rehd storage by spraying 0.014%,0.017%,0.020% calcium fertilizer preharvest.Result:Higher calcium fertilizer density can prevent the guality loss and keep firmness.Conclusion:0.020% calcium fertilizer was best.In addition,0.020% calcium fertilizer could be benefit for preserving total acid content and preventing the change of soluble solid content,but it was not good at inhibiting the CO2 release in MAP.Preharvest calcium spray did not make the post-harvest fruit Ca content was increased,and some treatment even in the Ca content of fruit decreased.Calcium spraying before harvest would help to increase fruit P,K,Ca nutrient content,but not the higher the concentration of calcium,spraying the better.
