Effect of Forest Cover on Sediment Yield Produced by Erosion in Different Spatial Scales

YU Xin xiao,QIN Yong sheng (Beijing Forestry University,Beijing 100083,China)  
According to the locating observation result of forest hydrologic properties from 1991 to 2000,the characteristics of the runoff and sediment yield of artificial runoff plot scale(100 m 2)and natural sloping scale(0.9 hm 2)were analyzed deeply by taking the method of contrasting experiment.Based on these,the effect of forest cover of headwater on erosion control was primarily analyzed.
