Preparation of Cu-based Ce-Fe-Y Composite Oxide Catalyst and Its Catalytic Performance

The Ce1-xFexYzO2-λ composite oxide supporter was prepared by reverse titration co-precipitation method,and then the Cuy/Ce1-xFexYzO2-λ catalyst was prepared by equivalent-volume impregnation method to load active component Cu on the supporter.The experimental results indicated that Cu3%/Ce0.9Fe0.1Y0.05O2-λ catalyst showed favourable catalytic activity on the conversion reaction of CO,NO and C3H6 when the molar ratio of Ce : Fe : Y was 0.9 : 0.1 : 0.05 and the content of Cu was 3%,the light-off temperatures(T5)0 for CO,NO and C3H6 were 100℃,234℃ and 258℃,and the complete conversion temperature(T9)0 were 183℃,318℃ and 350℃ respectively.Because Fe and Y could form stable cubic structure of the solid solution with Ce oxide,and the clustering phenomena of Fe,Y or Cu species crystalline phase on the surface of the support was not existed,the good synergistic effects between Ce,Fe and Y could improve the catalytic activity and thermal stability effectively,consequently the Cuy/Ce1-xFexYzO2-λ catalyst exhibited favourable performance.
