Evaluation of Increment Ecological Services of the Yongding River Based on the Ecological Restoration Project

The Yongding River is the core of the important ecological barriers in Beijing. The ecological construction and management of the river is very significant. The index system was established to evaluate the incremental value of ecosystem services after the ecological restoration project is finished of the Yongding River. The results show that the total incremental value of the ecosystem services of the Yongding River is 48.28 billion CNY. The value of culture services, support services, regulation services and provision services accounted for 73.24%, 23.28%, 2.74% and 0.74% respectively. Compared with the stock ecosystem services, it is found that the ecological benefits brought by ecological restoration project have increased obviously. The valuation of ecological services increases 1.12 times. The real estate value and industrial development was promoted obviously by the project. The appreciation of the landscape aesthetic and industry contribution services are 26.06 billion and 11.24 billion CNY. In addition, the appreciation of climate regulation and air purification services also increased obviously by the project. The study evaluated the ecological benefits of the project scientifically, meanwhile provided some experience and reference in dynamic monitoring and analysis of the river ecological status.
