Analysis on landscape pattern based on extraction of dike-pond ecosystem using object-oriented classification method in Shunde District

The study on information extraction and landscape pattern analysis of the pond landscape is of great significance for coordinating the sustainable relationship between urban development and agricultural landscape in the traditional ponds.The pond information was extracted with the OLI remote sensing image of Shunde District in 2015 using the Feature Extraction module in ENVI based on the object-oriented classification technology.The extraction outputs were examined by the Fragstats 4.0 to analyze the landscape index.The final results showed are as follows.(1) The classification method based on object-oriented technology had a good classification accuracy with the 91.5% of total classification accuracy and the 0.87 of Kappa coefficient.(2) The distribution pattern of the pond landscapes in Shunde Districtis was observed spatially clustered and mainly concentrated in the central of the Leliu Sub-district,Xingtan Town in the southwest and Jun'an Town.The general landscape showed a monotonous pattern in this area while the woodland,arable land and other landscapes were seriously fragmented and dominated by construction lands.(3) The pond landscape in Junan Town was observed the most serious fragmentation compared to other towns and sub-districts in Shunde District.After the rectification of high standards pond,Xingtan town had the largest area of the ponds,which was 30.5% of the total pond area,with spatially aggregation and large single pond parcel after the regulation of the primary cultivated lands.
