DYNAMIC INDICATOR SYSTEM FOR MEASUREMENT OF SPATIAL PATTERN IN LANDSCAPE ECOLOGY

The measurement of spatial pattern in landscape ecology is an important basis for the spatial pattern analysis of landscape ecology, and one of the key issues in landscape ecology. In this paper, the dynamic indicator System for measurement of spatial pattern in landscape ecology is established, including homogeneity, divergence and richness of one kind of patches; homogeneity, divergence and lichness of all patches; patch accessibility; patch shape index; coiridor richness; corridor/patch ratio; edge intensity; network connectivity; and network circuitry.Using the indicator system, different spatial pattern of different landscapes can be compared. Based on the dynamic sequence of the indicator system, not only the situation of spatial pattern in different periods but also the evolution trend of landscape can be known. Therefore, it is possible to forecast in time the spatial pattern of landscape that in turn can be regulated for optimum utilization of landscape. The indicator system for measurement of spatial pattern in landscape ecology is necessary and significant in theory and practice of landscape ecology, and is the main basis for the identification, forecasting and regulation of landscape.
