Effect of Stable Magnetic Field on Immune Function in Mice

Objective: To discuss the effects of stable magnetic field on immune function in mice.Methods: Kun-ming mice were divided into four groups: 4h exposure of magnetic field group,3h exposure of magnetic field group,2h exposure of magnetic field and control group.The immune function of mice was detected with thymus index,spleen index and liver index after 4h,3h,or 2h exposure of stable magnetic field per day standing for 20 days.Results: Compared with control group,the indexes of the thymus of the experimental groups were decreased(P0.05);the liver index of 2h or 3h exposure of magnetic field group mice was decreased too(p0.05);and there was no obvious difference in the index of the spleen(P0.05).Conclusion: Exposure of stable magnetic field per day standing for some days can reduce immune function of mice.
