Genetic Transformation System of Maize Mediated by Agrobactierium tumefaciens: A Review

Maize(Zea mays L.) is one of the three main crops of the world.Maize genetic transformation is still somewhat difficult at present.Many successful methods have been reported,of which the genetic transformation mediated by Agrobacterium is a major approach.In this review,recent progresses in genetic transformation of maize mediated by Agrobacterium,its problems,and influent factors et al.were discussed,and its future advances were also prospected.
