Effects of IFN-α2a-NGR Combined with 5-Fluorouracil on the Sensitivity of A549 Cell Line

Objective:To observe the effects of IFN-α2a-NGR,5-fluorouracil(5-FU) and their combination on the proliferation and apoptosis of A549 cell line.Methods:IFN-α2a-NGR(500 U/mL) and 5-FU(1.0 μg/mL) were used.A549 cells were divided into control group,IFN-α2a-NGR treated group,5-FU treated group,IFN-α2a-NGR+5-FU treated group.The inhibition on the proliferation of A549 cells respectively treated with IFN-α2a-NGR,5-FU and their combination was detected by MTT,and their apoptosis rate was detected by FCM,cell morphology was observed by fluorescence microscropy.Results:The inhibition rate and apoptosis rate of IFN-α2a-NGR+5-FU treated cells significantly higher than those of IFN-α2a-NGR alone treated cells and 5-FU alone treated cells.Conclusion:IFN-α2a-NGR combined with 5-FU can synergistically induce the inhibition and apoptosis of A549 cell line.
