Analysis of Reservoir Impact on Flow Regime of the Biliuhe River

ZHANG Ai-jing,ZHANG Chi,WANG Ben-de(School of Civil and Hydraulic Engineering,Dalian University of Technology,Dalian 116024,China)  
Based on the reservoir inflow and outflow from 1984 to 2005,this paper studied hydrological situation change owing to Biliuhe reservoir’s building and operation with the Rang of Variability Approach.The results show that construction and operation of Biliuhe reservoir brought a great change in the river's natural hydrological situation which has resulted in ecological environment destruction.Hydrological conditions of the lower reaches should be improved to compensate river ecosystem by regulating reservoir operating mode.
