Synergistic Dispatch of Power Source and Electric Network in Power System Based on Hybrid Genetic Algorithm

The current power system is characterized by increasingly sophisticated contradictions between power source(generation units and loads)and electric network(transmission and distribution network equipment). Therefore,the traditional economic dispatch of the fixed network topology tracing the load change faces great challenges. In this paper, a model for synergistic dispatch of power source and electric network is proposed. In the model proposed,the operation status of net-work equipment is seen as decision variables,and the network connectivity-ensuring constraints are also considered in addi-tion to the constraints of economic dispatch. Thus the flexible network topology is integrated into the coordinated economic dispatch,and the synergistic capability of realizing the power balance between generations and loads is well exploited within the feasible operation conditions. Furthermore,a hybrid solution methodology formed by the combination of generic algorithm and the linear programming interior point method is proposed for the model. Finally,case studies are conducted to verify the validity of the proposed approach.
