The application of inverse approach in the initial design for sheet metal forming

Based on minimum work path and virtual work theory, nonlinear finite element equations of inverse approach were built to estimate sheet metal forming initially The developed finite element program can obtain blank shape and thickness variation rapidly The result agrees well with the result obtained by FastBlank
