Research progress of hydrodesulfurization of carbonyl sulfide in hot coal gas

Hydrodesulfurization of carbonyl sulfide(COS) in hot coal gas has been reviewed,COS in hot coal gas was studied from three respects,such as Ni,Co and Mo catalysts,bifunctional catalysts with conversion and absorption(Ca,Zn,Fe,Mn and composite metal oxides desulfurizers) and activated carbon-based catalysts.The control of desulfurization reaction conditions and weaknesses of catalysts were also analyzed and improved measures were pointed out.
