Study on synthesis anthraquinone from phthalic anhydride and benzene over modified β zeolite catalyst

Anthraquinone was synthesised using different modified β zeolites catalysts.The result showed that Hβ modified catalyst had better catalytic efficiency for synthesizing anthraquinone,and the conversion of anthraquinone was about 33.6%;The effect of β zeolite modified with SO2-4/ZrO2 was better than SO2-4/Fe2O3;The selectivity of anthraquinone has improved greatly using β zeolite modified with cerium oxide,and the selectivity has reached 98.2%.
