A Review of the Ultrasonic Heating and the Noninvasive Temperature Measuring Used for Cancer Therapy

The Principle of ultrasonic heating and the methods for constructing the ultrasonic heating apparatus, especially the design of the spherical surface array focusing system for the radiation-aided ultrasonic hyperthermia for cancer therapy have been reviewed. Several methods of noninvasive temperature measuring for monitoring the ultrasonic heating recently developed have been introduced.
