Study on large sized ultrasonic vibrators

An overview of the research on vibration of large sized ultrasonic vibrators is presented. Topics discussed in this paper include the apparent elasticity method, vibration analysis of short column, hollow cylinder and block-like resonator with the apparent elasticity method and vibration control methods such as slotting, fine slotting, additional wave-trapped horn and redesign. Comparisons and evaluations are provided based on FEM results.
