Analysis of ultrasonic horn for plastic welding by finite element method

LIN Zhongmao LU Jianhua (Institute of Acoustics,Academia Sinica Beijing·100080)  
A special and simple FEM program MVUH has been made for calculating the frequencies and distribution of displacement on the working surface of horn, it can be operated on personal computer. Some theoretical results are compared with measured ones, the two agree well.
