Study on Pine Bark Beetles in Taiyuan and Their Comprehensive Controls

Pine bark beetles are important forest pests that induce serious harmfulness in later years.In Taiyuan,the species of pine bark beetles include sixdentate bark beetle,eightdentate bark beetle,and twelvedenate bark beetle.Flying period of the adult is in May,July,August and September.The period is the key period of control.Except for natural factors,the reasons of beetle happening are also due to artificial factors.Therefore,the controls of beetles depend on pest forecast,focus on quarantine and protection of forest plant,add biological,artificial,chemical methods.
