Microclimatic effect of sand obstruct comprised of gangue

Gao Baoshan, Gao Guoxiong, Zhu Shoujun, Cao Wei (School of Resources Science, Northwestem College of Forest, 712100 Yangling,Shaanxi,PRC)  
The study show that sand obstruct of gangue has many effects as altering micro-topography, lowering wind-speed,reducing evaporation,improving moisture condition in soil and advancing vegetation recovery.This not only provides a scientific basis for the vegetation establishment in coalfield of desert, but also opens up a new way to handle and utilize gangue.
