Thinking on the Framework of Lesson Study in Mathematics

Mathematics Lesson study was a process of research which was based on research mathematics lessons and which was aimed at instructional improvement and increased knowledge about teaching and improved situation in which mathematics teaching occurred.The dual principle of “correspondence of teaching and learning” and “correspondence of teaching and mathematics” could be served as a main clue through the process of lesson study. The process of lesson study involved setting goals of lesson study in mathematics, analyzing a lesson and planning it before the class, teaching the lesson and observing it during the class, discussing the lesson and revising it after the class, reflecting and reporting for lesson study.
