Oil and gas drilling engineering is difficult and labor intensive with high risk and high investment. Aiming at such characteristics,especially the risks,hazard factors and possibility of drilling engineering accidents in the drilling process, accident prevention and control system is established by utilizing a systematic method. Combining with the safety management idea of Heinrich law,this paper brings forward the safety technology,safety education and management countermeasures for oil and gas drilling operation in the hope of providing certain theoretical support and decision-making basis to a certain extent for the safety management in the process of oil and gas exploration and development.
