Preparation of Metal Ion Imprinting Adsorbent Resin by Inverse Microemulsion Polymerization and Its Performance

Metal ion imprinting adsorbent resin was prepared by inverse microemulsion polymerization,using sodium dodecyl sulfate and polyoxyethylene nonyl phenyl ether as composite surfactant,N,N'-methylenebisacrylamide as cross-linker,cadmium acrylate as active monomer,cyclohexane as oil phase and ammonium persulfate as initiating agent.Atomic absorption spectrometry was used to determine ion adsorption properties of obtained adsorbent resin.Thermal stability and structure of adsorbent resin were characterized by means of TGA,FTIR and SEM.With increase of cross-linking agent dosage,micropore of adsorbent resin became smaller and thermal stability was enhanced.Both adsorption rate and desorption rate of ion imprinting adsorbent resin for cadmium ions were rapid.This would upgrade utilization of the adsorbent resin.FTIR spectrum identified structure of the copolymer of cadmium acrylate and N,N'-methylenebisacrylamide.SEM indicated that surface of adsorbent resin was uneven and there were many irregular pores on adsorbent resin.
